Enhancing the Golf Experience at MetroWest Golf Club

Golf at MetroWest Golf Club is enhanced by the world's most advanced distance measuring technology - GPS by ParView.

Designed as a tool for the golfer, the ParView System combines the tradition of the game with Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to significantly enhance the overall golfing experience.

Graphical Hole and Green Overview
As a golfer approaches each hole, the ParView system displays a graphical overview of the hole featuring distances to the pin, fairway hazards, landmarks, pro tips on how best to play the hole, and an elapsed timer to monitor pace of play. As the cart approaches the green, the system displays the current pin placement with distances to the front and back of the green, and pin distance from the center of the green.

Exact Distancing
Using GPS technology, the ParView System provides distancing from each tee to the center of the green, allowing golfers to view the distance of their drive or distance remaining to the pin.

Electronic Scoring Live Tournament Leaderboard

The Electronic Scoring feature displays the hole number, par, handicap, and player designation. This easy to use feature automatically adds the scores for each hole and displays the current scoring total for holes played. During a tournament outing, participants can use the Live Tournament Leaderboard feature to see who the top leaders are at that very moment, and what hole they are currently playing. This makes each tournament outing much more fun and competitive for participants.

Food & Beverage Ordering
With a full menu appearing at the beginning of the 9th and 18th hole, golfers can order lunch from the convenience of their carts. After making and confirming their selection, the order is immediately transmitted to a receipt printer located in the kitchen. After the golfers finish the 9th or 18th holes, they simply proceed to the restaurant and pickup their prepared food. No more waiting or delay at the turn.

Two-Way Communications
Using Radio Frequency technology, golfers are able to quickly communicate with the pro shop for emergency assistance or receive messages from the pro shop including storm warnings. This can be a life-saving feature.
